Thanks, that makes sense. We don't pull a fuse because the steering wheel doesn't lock, so a key is not needed in the ignition.

Thanks to all on the info regarding neutral switch on my 2011 Tahoe. Found the red light followed the instructions and got it to work. Ok, now what is the best tow system to use?

Whichever is having a good sale! Expensive the first time to set up.

You gotta love a good sale! We went with a Demco Exacalibar towbar, Brake Buddy, and a Demco baseplate, all for under $1700 from PPL, and they shipped all that for $10. We installed it all after locally buying a few cables & connectors. It all worked great! BTW, get an extra pair of pins & clips and stash them in your toolbox...
