New sleeper sofa on 3010 and 3011

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...e=3&uploaded=5

Instead of a small jack knife sofa, we'll be doing this on any floor plan that has the space to do it.

For sure the 3010 and 3011 are getting it now.

I think the Solera 24S with optional sofa gets it. Most floor plans won't work due to the length of the bed.

I'm 5'11" and the bed is about the same length. My heels come right to the end.

Bought a 2013 Hemisphere that came with a blow up mattress sofa. Asked where the air pump was? Salesman said that they were sold in the Dealership store.....

We've avoided the air mattresses in the Class C division...just too many issues.

That's why we give you the nice Serta Pillow top in the back. This sofa is for kid and guests.

hate to say this but that serta pillow top is the hardest thing in all 4 of my FR RV's at least with the trump mattress it became comfortable with 4" of foam, the Aviator's does not. I would assume the same person that thought up that semi-circular dinette sleeper came up with that couch. Did it ever occur to anyone that the center cushion has no way to stay in place when the table is dropped into sleeping position? I wish more of the designers actually tried to use the RV products they came up with , similar to all the brilliant Civil Engineers that designed the bridges I had to build.

There is a way to keep the dinette cushion in place. I don't have a pic but you essentially reverse position.

There are different versions of the Serta. We use the Eurotop (all foam)...which I find very comfortable as do most. However, I have also slept on the Trump version. I slept on that one during a ski trip and it was absolutely perfect. It was very comfortable and the visco foam retains more heat...which worked well at 17 degrees. Our leader on that trip liked to turn the T-stat down to about 60 at night.

can't be the same POS they put in my Aviator, that thing is a rock even with 4" of foam on it. My first FR 36 RE had a serta non pillow top and it was perfect, we never moved after laying down, my Ridgeview was not terrible but the 36 CKTS and the Aviator just suck. The Trump was not bad with foam but nothing short of replacing the one in the Aviator is going to work. I thought the couch, or as other Aviator owners call it " the ouch" would be a better choice, I was wrong, tried the dinette but the center cushions just slide off, again I say for the price point they thought they could sell the Aviator for a little more thought should have been given to the furnishings, don't care who owns the furniture company.

I have a Serta temperpedic at home and it has been awesome for 7 years. the Trump has been the closest to it and I slept like a baby. But its not for everyone...it is a major area of personal opinion.

I will say that Motorhome units (which this thread is) and trailers use different mattresses. We have to comply with different flame spread ratings since you are traveling in it. You do end up with distinctly different options that are available.
