2nd house battery

Please recommend the battery type I should order.

I am going to install a 2nd house battery. Local dealer wants $160, so I will order one and install it myself

We cruised a 31 ft sailboat for 15 years. The RV is much easier than docking with wind or current, but 'wakes' - wind wakes in this case from big trucks in big winds are as big a problem. The best approach is the same - slow down. You'll hear folks grumble about "Damn slow RVs cause accidents". Maybe so, but they don't have them, and you arrive relaxed while the guys racing the traffic take an hour and a double scotch to reach the same serenity

We also switch from boating to a motorhome ('07) you and your family will love it! Less work "docking" an Rv in a campsite, way more real state to set up than a boat slip!lol
Left the boating world 7 years ago, never looked back! Just book nice Rv resorts for the first few trips and you'll be selling the boat soon!
Congrats on the Rv. Enjoy!
