Moving the slide out is an interesting idea and may help. However the fridge is not getting gas either so I do not beleive that's the problem

Is your propane detector "on" inside your RV? Some of them control an electric solenoid near your propane tank to shut gas supply if LP detector activates? If you have a solenoid near your tank it should be warm to the touch if working properly. If cool then solenoid is close and gas shut off.

X2 on the propane detector, in my unit if it is in the off position no gas....electrical solenoid is closed. Flip it on and all is good.

I'm not sure about propane detector. I have the electronic gauge for fill level and a carbon monxide detector inside. This is a motorhome. I only remember seeing a wire for the fill sensor.

There will be a propane detector inside your unit.

I once had a bad regulator that didn't allow any gas flow.

The propane detector on the Sunseeker is not connected to a shut off solenoid on the tank.

It could be the regulator, but the ones that have been going bad on 1-2 year old Sunseekers (and others) have been outright leaks. Mine went bad when one year old and it was obvious--propane was flowing freely out of it.

The fact that this happened immediately after filling the tank still makes me think it is something in the way the tank was filled (namely, too full).

Apparently something stuck. I tapped around valve etc. with a rubber mallet. Low and behold I got gas...

I once disassembled the entire hose/valve assembly looking for a blockage. Blowing thru the hose and valves I found one valve that was blocked. Pushed a little spring plunger thing with a screwdriver and it was stuck. Applied more pressure and it started releasing. Worked it back and forth a few times and gas flowed fine when reassembled. Maybe you solved same problem with a rubber hammer. Good job.

I have exact same model with same problem. Worked last year, topped off tank and put away for winter.

Today I opened gas valve, I heard a click (check valve seating?), but no flow at stove.

To the original poster, did you get it working?

Wes

Probably a bad regulator. Depending on dealer distance, I would order another one and install. Easy enough to do.

Can't say with certainty. I pulled it apart and checked the internal check was free, put it back together and it still didn't work. I left the compartment door open and went about other things, one which was opening up the slide for first time this spring.

Tried it again and it worked! Could have been the regulator liked the open sun, OR could have been the stove supply hose was crimped with the slide closed?

Who knows!

I had a very similar issue. I was about ready to replace the regulator and tried switching the tanks around (right to left). I think when I unhooked both tanks something "reset" because it started working again. I switched the tanks back and it still worked fine. Maybe I should keep a rubber woman gitter on board just in case or a spare regulator.
