No ice RM1350

Dewinterize my 3050s with four door Dometic. I'm getting no ice. I'm guessing it's not getting water but I can't find a valve that is turned off. Anybody have an ideas why no ice?

you might have ice build up in the line. I took a
weed eater line and broke mine free. Also the water
line might have come off where it goes into the
ice maker.

Line is still connected. Ice in the line, interesting thought.

The Dometic manual indicates a 1/4" water supply line with valve at the rear of the fridge...most likely accessible through one of the exterior access panels.

Here's a link to the Dometic manual...your answer may be there. http://www.dometic.com/9a72fc6e-2c8f...72a72b9e.fodoc

Dave

Edit: Are you getting water at the dispenser and no ice or neither?

Several things need to happen for your frig to make ice. I spent several days last year learning how to make mine work properly. Your frig has a BIT (built in test) mode located at the display. I would run the BIT to insure your frig pass this test first. I attached the user manual and IPB for your use.

If I understand your question correctly, the freezer is below 32 degrees and all you need is the water to flow into the ice trays. If so, the solenoid (inside panel outside of coach) needs a signal from the ice maker on/off swing arm (located in the ice tray) and water pressure to the solenoid (make sure your coach is level and all the doors are closed). There is a heat tape installed to ensure the line will not freeze if your coach is plugged into shore power. Insure that you have water pressure to the solenoid by breaking the water line and flush out the line with fresh water. Once you have verified water pressure and the swing arm is down then monitor the ice maker trays to determine if they are filling with water. There are 3 fuses inside the outside frig access door. Two are easy to gain access while the last one is located inside the control module and can be difficult to get to but is not impossible.

The control module is the weak link in the design of our 1350 frig and often go bad.

Cracked open the water line under fridge and at the solenoid outside. There is water in the line. This may mean back to the dealership.

Yep, if the problem is the controller module then they are not cheap! Mine is also under warranty but I had to see what made it tick and what DNA defects the 1350 have. My biggest headache with this frig is the door handles. They will loose their locking ability over time due to a poor design.
