No light when arctic pac switch is turned on

I have a 2017 2800qs sunseeker. The red light does not come on when switch is turned on. The temp outside is 50 degrees f. I can not find a fuse marked for artic pac, does anyone know where the fuse is located on this unit?

Same problem, and more

Slightly different model (2018 2400R) but...everything lit up during my PDI several weeks ago, but now that the cold weather is here, I tried to turn it on. No good. Circuit breaker had popped. Re-set it, tried switch again and popped the breaker again. Switched breakers with another 15A, same results - popped breaker. Temporarily switched with a 20A - popped breaker again.
Breaker box is located in my stairwell; see attached pic of cover plate. It's the top, right-side breaker - blue with '15A' written on it. A little button had popped out about 3/16th inch. Yours may be different!
Looked at the switch back-side after opening the 'Convenience Center.' Lots of pretty wiring back there. Trying to find a similar colored wire down underneath coach, but those wires are not the same color as attached to the switch.
Planing to call dealer on Monday.

Have any of the circuit breakers 'popped?'

More background

Breaker box cover plate states that battery must be above 13.3V. I'd been plugged into my house with a 15A circuit for past days, so I assume battery was fully charged. Fired up the generator, as a 'full power' test. Still popped circuit breaker.
I'm assuming there is a short somewhere. Duh!
All the related under-coach Artic Pack wiring is connected with water-proof connectors; I'm not ready to start breaking those connections yet.

I believe that your most likely problem is a short, as mentioned above. In my experience, this has nearly always been a pinched wire, shorting out to ground, or to the ground wire for the circuit in trouble. All of the Forest River units I have examined use an actual wire for the ground, or negative wire for every circuit, as do at least some other manufacturers. Generally, it is in the form of flat parallel cable, with a color stripe to identify the hot wire. Looks kind of like grossly oversize lamp cord.

Just for giggles and grins, and since the temp was around 28degrees the other morning, I, too, turned on the arctic pac. Light did not come on. And since I was taking it to its winter home under cover, figured I would look at it a little later.
I'll keep this thread in mind when I check things out in a couple of weeks.... I have liberal visitation rights while it is in storage. 😁

We’ve never used ours, but is it possible that the light only comes on when the packs are actually on? If they are controlled by a thermostat, 50 degrees may not be cold enough for them to actually come on.

My tank heater switch light comes on when we turn on the switch. Our switch is about elbow height to my DW (see... I'm blaming her since she doesn't know how to find this stuff on her phone!). I've found that lighted switch burning bright red when the temperature was 78°F. There's a possibility the bulb has burned out in the OP's switch.

My water heater propane switch has a light bulb in it but it would never light. The selling dealership said lights never burn in those switches. I removed it, found a 3-connector switch --- 1 for pos. power in, one for ground for the heater relay and 1 unused connector (for the light bulb). I added a short ground for this light bulb tab and now all functions of the switch work. OP's bulb ground might have jiggled off a connector and lost the ground. Pull the switch and check.

In reference to the water heater switch on the panel, mine is wired to come on when it is calling for heat on propane, and goes off after ignition is established. I am not certain, but think the arctic switch light merely indicates that power is available to the heaters, which I assume would have thermostats. Tried mine today, and light came on, as per usual...but that probably does not mean much, as it is in my climate controlled shop, being pampered when not in use.

Are you talking about the switch itself or the DSI fault light? As I remember (I'm old so no bets), my switch is lit when on and not lit when off. My DSI fault light operates as you describe -- ON until ignition then OFF.

Artic pack light

I have a 2014 2860, the artic pack light only comes on if the coach battery switch is on.

Well, when I flipped the arctic pac switch ON, the coach battery switch was on and it was WELL below 50 degrees (and had been for over 24 hrs), so....
I'll try things again in a couple weeks when I go visit the Sunseeker where it's stored.

Same problem, and more - RESOLVED

I got my 2400R to a local dealer yesterday. They found that the Arctic Pac switch was wired incorrectly. Quick and simple to fix. Wish I'd caught it during my PDI.
All is well, now.
FYI - Switch illuminates when turned ON. Heating itself is thermostatically controlled at the tank pads.

I have aertic pac turned o , no light. I went to dimp and valves are froze. Does artic pack keep valves heated or only tank? 12 degrees last night and 22 todsy.

The arctic pack, might keep the valves from freezing up, but 12° is pushing it. The fact you don't have the indicator light in not good. Need to verify if the heat pads on the tanks are coming on. On my unit they are exposed and I can check them with an infrared non-contact thermometer. If they are in the belly pan it is more of a challenge.
