I had a lady @ a dealership tell me you can soak the filters in a Bleach / water solution to sanitize them ???? She has been in the RV business her whole life !!!

You might just want to remove the filter and use an outside one. Lots of reports of KW-1/FR-1 filters cracking and flooding RVs.

Replace with a 1/2" coupler from Home Depot.

You can use the blue Camco's outside, OR rig up the removed one for use outside.
My rig doesn’t have the water filter you show. I’ll have to see if I can figure out what the model is.

If you do not have the KW-1 you probably have a CC1-10-C
