Have found 6' and 8' versions, has anyone found 10' straps?

Northern Tool has them, but the reviews are not too good as they claim they will only retract about 5' and you have to hand wind the last 10'. Haven't used the 6' or 8' ones I have yet. Will give them the acid test in FL after Thanksgiving tho'.

Oh well, at least I have OC's basement tray stained and painted need to swing by the shop and get the laundry board out of the bumber soI can stain it as well.
Hmmm Mine were on in an hour and a half. Not sure where the welding is required.

BTW, when you do get the laundry board, don't forget to send some pics. DW's still waiting for visual confirmation before approving this winter's project.

Thanks OC - the dealer is across town from where I work and just really
inconvenient to get to during rush hour so I have not been able to get the laundry board

Looooong Story Brian...here is the gist:

Bought Strongarms at Goshen, Lippert was to install on Wed.
Won Waste Master & Storage Box in essay contest, Lippert installed Waste Master Camlock system, said they would install Storage box on Thur.

As of Saturday morning nothing was installed AND Lippert had "misplaced my strongarms" Well, Leo (FR) contacted Brad (Lippert Customer Relations) and he came out to meet with me & 6 Actual. Apologized for screwup and said Lippert would dropship Strongarms to our local dealer and pay for installation of both the JTs and the wastemaster storage box.

Our local dealer does not do welding so they had to contract that out and contract welders around here (like a lot of service folks) are..well...Southern slow

JTs were on and working over a week ago - fabricating the supports to hold the waste master box is what is gumming up the works. SUPPOSED to be done this Friday - we will see. Wait will be worth it though - stinky slinky and all parts will have a home away from all our other stuff in the basement

Suit me fine...

Just added a cloth shoe rack on the back of the privey door.

got this one as it needed to be narrow for the door,

Rubbermaid Configurations Shoe Organizer, 20-Pocket, Natural (FG3F20DWNATUR)

Swapped the hook to clear the door header space....

Now need a portable ironing board so I can spiff up for overpriced meals on the road.

Ideas?

When I'm on the road for work in hotels I find a hot steamy shower can do wonders with a perma press shirt. Depending on your rig you might be able to do something similar.

Sunseeker sun shades

We have had the heat shield interior windshield cover for about a year and like it. We don't use the curtains and we utilize the cab space. So we just ordered a custom shade for that pesky entry door frosted window. Far too much lite and glare for my tired eyes. I will post a photo once it gets here.... The size is 21x24 with corners equal the fitting a 1-3/8 inch diameter plug guage.

What's next? What's ya fixen?

I need to look for an inside cover for the windshield. That curtain is a pain when you want to change something on the stereo.

My wife made night window covers for the bedroom windows in thick cloth that matches the walls. Those blinds don't do anything to keep light out in the morning. The covers attach to velcro stapled up inside the top cover for the blind. Couldn't camp without them.

I've got a 2700DS 28'.

Here are some pics. My wife found some corduroy material at a fabric store that is an exact match to the walls and comforter we have.

Before:

Sew Velcro strip to fabric:

Staple Velcro strip to underside of window valance:

And there you have it. You can sleep 'till noon if you want to

I'm on it. got materials from W'world and ready for the next rainy day to play with the sewing maching. Project under 30 bucks, bought the entire bolt of 10 yards of brown color light suppression cloth at 2 buck a yard, plus 5 feet of velcro..... DW will probably also do new curtains for the overhead bunk..

Keep the ideas coming.....

My mod for today
DW and I got tired of fighting the bathroom spigot. GK's were having a difficult time turning the water on and off. Should have done this sooner.
