Ordering a new 3170

I'm ordering a new Sunseeker 3170 this week. The dealer in Albany, NY gave me an RVDirect price, so it is very good. All the options with the Auburn paint.

I went to Auburn, so I have to get the paint (I know it's not orange and blue!).

They said it will take a few months to build, so I guess I'm looking to pick it up in Sept.

Now I have to find a storage place in Birmingham (AL).

Thanks for all the help here.

Donnie

Also, a question I have - warranty program. Recommended or not? Which program?

Thanks,

Donnie

albany rv is rvdirect. If you search their site there is a video of a discussion of their extended warranty by albany rv/rvdirect owner and the warranty provider rep. it sounded good and i looked up the warranty provider.
has been around many years and has good rep although it's been a couple of years since i looked at this video.

We just placed an order today with RVDirect for the 3170DS. Also hoping to get it sometime in September. . .

Oh, LSU fan here, btw. Geaux Tigers.

Ordered my 3170DS from RVDirect at the end of May. It comes off the line July 23. Can't wait to pick it up in Des Moines, Iowa location. Order mine my all opions except full body paint. I will let everyone know how it comes out.

Very cool. We really like the floor plan of the 3170. The Sunseeker/Forester was the only Class C we found where you can use the bottom bunk as a couch in addition to a bed. We also sprung for several of the upgrades (15k BTU A/C, 4.0 kW generator, Bigfoot leveling jacks, etc.) but also opted against the full-body paint.

Yes, please let us know how your experience goes. We chose the delivery option because it's more convenient with work obligations, but would love to pick it up and make a little vacation of it. Maybe next time.
