Outlets above countertop

Hi
I just recently bought a Keurig K Mini plus. I tested the unit out at home to make sure it worked. I then brought it with me on my trip in my 2019 3010ds. Plugged it into the outlets above the kitchen countertops and it did not work. All other appliances that I plug into that outlet work (toaster, blender, and even a regular Keurig). Got home plugged mini plus into my home kitchen outlet and it worked. Donít know why it didnít work in my 3010ds. Any help would be appreciated.

I was plugged into 30A shore power when trying to use mini plus.

Thanks
Michael

Just spit balling here.....

Is the plug for your Kerrigan Mini polarized?
Is one blade of the plug larger than the other?

Have you got an electrical tester like shown which gives you the indicator as to whether the plug is wired correctly?

It is a 3 prong grounded plug.

I do not have a outlet tester. I guess i should invest in one.

I agree with Kenandterry- get an outlet tester.

Go to Home Depot or Ebay and search for outlet tester.
They run about $6 on Ebay incl shipping.

Puzzler.

The tester is hardly an investment at six bucks.

Polarized plug is nearly universal and will only fit one way. I've never found a single household device where it mattered but this may be the one. Perhaps the outlet is wired wrong. The tester may tell you but they'll typically display a bad ground unless the trailer is plugged into a full shorepower connector and not thru an adapter.

Over the counter outlets should be on a protected circuit since they're by the sink. These can be fussy.

Don't forget to tell us how/if it was fixed.

Weird that all other appliances work on that outlet...except for one single item ??? Too strange.

We're guessing -- need more info.
Does the Kurig have 2 or 3 prong plug?
Would it work plugged in elsewhere in the RV?
Could the campground power post have been
miswired?
It is a puzzler for sure.

Iím with most of this. There is something wrong with the outlet and the keurig doesnít like it....it has to be the circuitry in the maker.

Try a short (heavy duty) extension cord - in my experience, often just a contact problem between the plug and the outlet. Confirm both that the Keureg works in the house with the extension, and that another device works in the MH using the extension plugged into the outlet in question.
If it works with the extension, either use it that way or try slightly bending the Keureg plug’s prongs. I would guess they are just not contacting the outlet’s contacts. Or more radically, replace the outlet.
