Outside TV wiring issue

I have 2014 3950S with TV outside that doesn't stay on. After several attempts it will usually stay on. I found the fused +12 volt red wire going to the TV to be quite hot as if it is under sized. I checked the connections at the fuse holder and they are fine (suspected high resistance connection).

Considering just running a replacement pair of wires.

Any one else had this issue?

Wes

Is your RV still under factory warranty? If so I would let your dealer fix this issue.

Make sure you are getting 12v. If the voltage is low (low batteries) it will drop out as well.

Outside TV wiring issue

Found problem, flimsy old glass type fuse holder like I would have found in my Radio Shack home Science kit. Had to bend metal tabs to force good contact when cheap plastic housing is screwed together. Here is a pic with the fuse holder at bottom.

Past warranty, besides I would never take it to a dealer for something I can fix myself!

Thanks Brian, see my updated post.

Also, recommend switching to more common blade type in-line fuse holder! Like this:
