Overhead Cab TV in 3050s

We have been planning to buy a 3051S and noticed that the TV viewing angle is awkward from the sofa also. When we get our MH, I plan to see if we can re-locate the TV on a flip-up bracket mounted above the dinette, which would be directly across from the sofa. Not sure if it will work until we get our MH and try it. Amazon and other sites show quite a variety of TV mounting brackets. I would even sacrifice one of the cabinets over the dinette to mount it to.

Awkward angle is an understatement. I actually just relocated it to the dinette table. I found a stand online for that Jensen TV. I just unplug it put it in the cab over area when we travel. FYI to do this you need to run 6 cables to the dinette and plug the 12 volt in under the dinette. The 2 pictures I attached show the 6 cables being run from the cab area to the back of the dinette. I bundled the cables and left enough slack so they move with the slide. I then ran the cables under the seat of the dinette and up the back of the table through the cupholder hole to the TV.

I purchased a new mount that has the ability to move (rotate) in front of the cabinets above the dinette. Mounted it in the same location. So much better.

Do you have a picture or a link to the mount?

. Purchased at Costco. Also purchased a TV earthquake strap from Home Depot to secure while traveling.

It's a crappy afterthought, seriously I thought it was a poorly executed dealer option...but no, they actually do that on purpose!

I cut the long arm into 3 pieces and installed 2 hinges so it swings around then swings back against the slide wall. making viewing almost straight across from the front end of the couch.

JV, do you have a picture that shows it in it's extended position? This may be the fix we were looking for.
