parts online/dealer

I want to order some upgrades for my 2014 3010ds, like the upgraded buyers hitch 7500lb. Anybody know of a good internet dealer to order parts
from.

Thanks

I order most of my stuff online unless I need it right away. I can say for me, usually finding what you want and simply searching the part number on a good internet search engine works out well.

Then of course, I look around at the best priced sites for some coupon codes, specials, etc.

It just depends on how much time I have.

I've gotten a hitch from RVWholesalers parts section and it was the best price within $100 or more. As for some other things, I have found adventurerv.net has good prices and also rvupgradestore.com.

It just really depends. If it something small, I have found that I can do just as well at my local dealer. For example, broken plastic latches and things like that.

Good luck but, like I said certainly searching the internet search engine with the part number is a good place to start.

Maybe you have already checked into this but did you verify that when FR upgraded the towing capacity from 5000 to 7500, was the hitch the only thing that was changed or were the frame extensions up graded as well?

In order to support the increased tow capacity Ford increased the Gross combined ratings from 20000 to 22000 lbs. So if your chassis isn't the newer model rating or unless the coach weights less than 12,500 fully loaded you can't without, exceeding ratings, use the extra tow capacity. The rating should be on the door jam sticker.

2014 would have the 22,000 GCWR. (This switched back in 2010 or 2012 at the latest)
The hitch was the only thing we changed.

Good to know. I thought my 2012 model with a 2011 chassis built in 6/2011 was 20 K but just checked and it is 22K.

I don't have much to do with parts. Your local dealer would be my only suggestion.

I bought my PullRite 5th wheel hitch from Dyers online. Great price and super fast shipping. I don't know if they have what your looking for or not.
