Pioneer MixTrax

Hello, so just brought home a new 2018 Sunseeker 2420 with both backup camera and turn cameras. Both are supposed to show up video on the Pioneer display in the dash. The backup camera seems to work fine, but the turn cameras do not. If I have the display on radio, and turn on the turn signal, it does nothing, once the turn signal goes off, the back up camera view comes on. If I leave it like that and then do the turn signal camera, it will show the side view for like one second then go away. Am I missing a setting somewhere or is it broke? Any ideas?

I have not seen that one...or even read about it here. It sounds like all the camera are wired, since the sides do show up for a second, so I suspect the control module for the cameras is flaky. That module is usually tucked up under the dash near the steering column. Since you have a new unit I'd let the dealer handle it...

Thanks for the response. I just wanted to check here to see if there was some weird setting that I was missing. I will call the dealer and arrange for them to take a look at it.

BTW, MixTrax is a feature on a bunch of Pioneer radios. I assumed this was a question about that feature. Just for the record, you don't want it. It's a garbage feature, unless you're running a night club for teenagers.

Hope you figure out your cameras.

No I don’t care about the MixTrax part, I just thought that was part of the brand name to help. I just care about the camera part. Although it really is not that big of a deal, the mirrors work fine.
