Power step not working STUCK OUT!!!

2004 SS 3100
I stored my RV with the step out, now it will not shut once all power is on & rv running. It did this to me a 4 months ago but then started to work again. when I started it up a month ago it worked. Its like it got stuck out. Is there something I can grease or bang on to help it out. Maybe motor is bad or something. Is there a manual close option? Any help would be much appriciated.

Thanks

I would use liquid wrench on ALL the moving parts underneath. Those things have a tendency to rust.

This happened to me and the board went bad. The boards are expensive but easy to diagnose if you can remove the the 3 bolts and 2 plugs. There is a hot , ground, door switch and ignition wire. My door switch lead would not wotk because of bad board. Just run a 12v to hot and ground. Then jump to door switch.
