Used properly by an experienced operator, they can do a nice job safely. Used incorrectly by an inexperienced person it can lift caulk and remove decals. My last TT has a caulking leak caused by the wash person at the dealer using a power washer to speed up the process.

I was told not to do it because you could easily peel off your decals.

The truck stop wash cleans my Aviator twice a year and they use pressure washers. Since I don't have caulking, decals or trim, it's no problem. The seal around the door to our outside entertainment center leaked a few drops until I replaced the door seal with a heavier seal.
A pressure washer WILL remove decals in a heartbeat.

I use a pressure washer to do the first rinse, then I use a window washing mop on a pole to scrub the high areas and a hand held mop for the reachable areas, then the pressure washer for the rinse. The Sunseeker turns our real nice.

If you want to do fancy finish, you can always use a window washing squeegee to get the water off the windows and the fiberglass surface after the final rince. I usually try to wash my rig on a cloudy day and let it air dry.

The trick, use the 45° tip on your pressure washer and keep it about three feet away from the surface.

I do have a MBS Sunseeker and it is fiberglass with the decals clear coated on so I don't have to worry about the pressure washer lifting any decals.

Hope this helps, Sherman

Best RV Wash solution ever!

Aircraft RV Cleaner Waterless Wash Wax Detailing Products Supplies

We have been using this for several years now and would never consider water and soap or a pressure washer ever again!

Well I learned the hard way, I removed part of my decal with it. But I also had the most powerful nozzle on. I now use a 89.00 power washer with a fin type nozzle I thinks it's like 1600 psi. But I also stand back 4 feet when I use it. It will work well at that pressure but still try not to close to the decals. It will peel them off in hot second...

Why? With a good hose nozzle and good cleaner, you can do just as good a job without the risk of using a power washer. I've seen people, break windows, dent, crack, remove paint, remove decals, etc. with using a power washer on an RV.

Though can you, sure, with the correct nozzle.

What I found amazing about it is, the more you use it, the easier it is to apply and (to a point) faster the job goes.

Love the fact that after 2-3 applications bugs almost fall off the front cap

How well does it clean up a mud mess after a trip down a dirt road right after a heavy rain. Or do you need to pressure off the mud before you can use the waterless wash???

I would really love to see a video of this amazing product clean up a mud bogger in two easy steps like the promotion video.

Yeah, well, guess where I do not drive my Coach

I would think rinsing your camper (and I assume your truck) off first would work.

Wash Wax All will take the grime of the highway off very well. Caked on mud? Not so much.

Hard to do the math since I am using product from our 5er days, but I am guessing @ $10 or less per application.
