Preventing outside air from venting in.

We just returned from Yosemite on our first long trip in our Sunseeker 2690. As we got back into the hotter temps, my wife noticed quite a lot of hot outside air venting into the the RV through the large vent screen below the oven. I believe this area is the intake for the furnace. It made keeping the interior temps difficult to keep cool.

Does anyone know if there is a way to close this vent or prevent the outside air drafting in?

Our furnace is in a different location but here's what I did. I took a small piece of Reflectix, covered it with a piece of black material, and hold it in place with Velcro top and bottom. Just make sure you remove it before running furnace. Pic shows the piece I made next to the interior furnace return grill/vent. If you don't have any Reflectix you could use a thin piece of Styrofoam.

That looks like a good idea. I was thinking some type of inside cover or something to cover the two exterior exhaust ports. Inside option would probably lead to less chance of trying to run furnace with the cover on. Thanks.
