Progressive Dynamics PD9260CV

I am thinking of replacing the WFCO WF-9855 charge controller in my 2014 3050s with a Progressive Dynamics PD9260CV. Has anyone done this? It appears to be as simple as mount it, connect the AC and connect the DC. Will it really bring my batteries back from almost fully drained to 90% in just a few hours of running the generator?

Changed my WFCO to a progressive 9270v with charge wizard on my 3170 simple to install and works like a dream. I haven't run my batteries that low but have been down to under 50% and it worked well.

So besides the 4 led battery indicator that is on the motorhome how do you tell the percentage of battery usage?

You need to install a DC watt meter, they are about $30 off eBay.

Bclemens can I install the 9270 on my 3050s or is it too much for the factory DC cables that are there? I don't want to run new cables. What Progressive Dynamics converter do you put in the 3050s now?

9260c with charge wizard pendant is all you need.
A 9270 will also work.

You have to forgive me I am more mechanical than electrical. If I can get the 70 amp for the same price as the 60 amp should I do that? Or is 70 just overkill. I have 2 deep cycle batteries right now. What will the higher amperage converter do for me? It won't do harm will it? Really have no clue how to size one for my needs.

The 70 will be fine if the price is right I'd have to look but the 70 probably draws more amps if that an issue?
