Our alarm has gone off twice now this summer.

Of course, last night it was at 2:30 AM - yes, it will wake you up pretty quick!

In looking at the alarm itself and pamphlet, I don't think it's doing exactly any of the listed alarms. We are getting:

Green light steady
Red light flashing
A continuous beeping sound

Both times I hit the silence button and it never came back.

Our Sunseeker is only a year old so it's not an outdated alarm.

We have the propane valve "open" outside but nothing was running on propane.

Has anyone else had any random alarms or know what this light / sound pattern is?

We had to replace ours. I think they have a two to five year life. The one in our 2011 sun seeker had a 2010 replace by date. We bought a replacement at lowes. It's not a difficult task to replace it.

Had to re-read your dates twice. Nice! I don't see a "born on" date on ours. It just says to replace after 5 years of use. We had pop ups for 18 years and never had an alarm sound. I noticed it says "RV" on the alarm but guessing you just got a generic at Lowes.

If I remember correctly we had to take it out to see the date. It was a real pain to get up in the night and make it stop alarming.

I am sure camping world or your local dealer would have rv specific replacements if you wanted to get one of those. Prices are about the same for all.

Keep in mind this unit will be triggered by battery gassing by low level, overcharging or old. May be 1 year old to you and still have high shelf life. Mine has been set off by indirect app of fabreeze!

Also check your battery water levels - the alarm was how we first realized our water levels were low.

Our alarm sounded also---------------

On our trip to Niagara Falls rally our alarm would not stop until I cut the B+
to it. I found out it was a low battery that caused the alarm.

We are new to RVing. Our 2013 2250LE Sunseeker RV was parked in driveway the first time the co2/lp gas detector went off flashing 2 green 2 red. Called coach net they said might be dead coach battery - sure enough plugged in and it stopped.
On our first long trip we were parked for 6 days when the gas alarm - red light steady beep - went off at 5 am and would not stop. My husband went out and heard hissing sound from the gas regulator. He turned off the gas and we vented the couch. We thought we would void the warranty if we fixed it ourselves so we Called Coach net again and they gave us the name of a dealer - 80 miles away - who could fix it. This happened on a Saturday so we had to wait until Monday to have it fixed so we checked into a hotel for 2 nights. After repair we had to fill the LP gas tank and hooked the RV back up and just as we were going to sleep the alarm went off and despite turning the gas off and blowing into the unit to ventilate it alarm went off three times in a row. We checked into a motel and came home.

Ours would go off all the time especially when the husband walked by it too many times! Finally he had enough one night and now it is not connected anymore. I know that is not the right thing to do but it was consuming too much time and we didn't even have any gas on.

Our last trip ours started to alarm one night even with the propane off. Had to cut the wires to make it stop 😉. What's funny is that we have run a little buddy heater next to it and has never gone off!
