Propane Detector

The propane / co detector located by the stairs in my 2013 3010ds keeps going off every few days. The green light has a steady flash to it. Front panel states Green-Green = EOL. I assume that means "End Of Life" for the detector? Unit is only 1 year old. Is this a common problem with these. Seems it's located in a bad place. Every time you sweep the floor/stairs I'm sure dust is getting in to the unit.
BTW, its hard wired with no back up battery that I can see.
I'm I missing something?

If you take it off the wall and turn it over you'll see a date on the back. They should last longer than a year. Just because your camper is a year old the detector could be older. Also check the water level in your 12V battery.

Is it parked for storage when it does this or are you camping in it?

Mine acts crazy when the house battery is low on charge. Try pulling the fuse to the unit for a bit and check your voltage/charge on your house battery. Never hurts to reset things from time to time... Been in IT all my life... Reboot is the first thing we always say and for good reason.

mine was blinking green for the first 5-10 minutes after plugging the battery back in. Seems when you first turn it on after there has been no power, it goes through some sort of self check or something. I also later found that my battery was dying. I also think EOL is red red green green.
