Propane Question

Hello all,

I took my 2011 Sunseeker 2860DS out for the first time (bought it used) and was unable to get anything to work on the propane. Can someone tell me how to get the gas on and working. I turned the gas on outside and when I went to light the stove it didn't work. The rig didn't come with an owner's manual so I'm kinda winging it. Any help would be great.

If the gas valve is open it'll automatically ignite once the system fails as the purge the air. Also check that somethings getting through a lot of bad gas regulators.

You are sure the tank has propane in it ?. Dont always believe the gauge. If it has not been used in a while it may take a while for the propane to get to the stove burner, Take a bit of time to get all the air out.

Make sure you turn the LP tank valve on very slowly.

And in my case... Wait at least 15 minutes to turn anything on except the tanks. Otherwise I am SOL.

I found a two stage regulator at tractor supply on "scratch and dent". It was $40. I said never mind. Thank you.

Turn off the tank valve. Disconnect your regulator from the tank. Let sit for 15min. Reconnect and turn tank valve on slowly. Very slowly. This should reset the regulator.

Propane Question

There have been reports of defective regulators
Mine failed and I lost the entire tank of gas
Replaced under Warranty and refill for free (good people at Campers Inn)
When I turn gas on I always light my stove to get gas flowing and air out of system that way I don't fret over Refig and hot water faulting
