Questions about 3100ss

I was interested in learning other folks opinions and experiences with this floor plan.I noticed Paulmlac posted he had just bought one and wondered what he thought so far.My closest dealer doesn't have one in stock so I haven't actually seen one. That seems to be the problem with the three floor plans we were interested in,being able to actually see them. Thanks for any information.

We have the same problem...being able to see multiple floor plans without having to drive to Timbuktu and back. Where are you from? The Hershey, PA RV show is in a couple of weeks and we're really excited to go!

We like it. It's less than a month old, we've put about 1000 miles on it, & stayed in it 5 nights in 3 different places.

It drives easier than I thought it would (I pulled pop ups for 18 years).

We haven't really had any problems (knock on wood). I have only discovered three minor things so far. The middle entry step is held in place with two screw things - well the little metal piece that they screw into is missing on one side so the step is loose on one side (not good with kids). The 12 volt plug plate by the dinette isn't secured to the wall & pulls out from the wall when unplugging something. One of the bedroom windows screeches really loudly when opening it.

The layout works for us. There are some things I would change to the layout if I could custom design one. But we felt it hit the closest to our needs. My one piece of advice is to really think through your needs, study the layouts, see them if you can, & pick what you think is best.

420brady-I would love to go to Hershey as I am originally from the Philly area and know it's a great show.We moved to Florida about four years ago, there's have a dealer about 25 miles away but he doesn't have much in stock.RvDirect has a dealer in Orlando with a bigger selection but that's over 200 miles away. The closest dealer has two 2012 Lexington 283ts's in stock that are well optioned and I got him down to a pretty good number on one, I just think we would be better off with a full size C. PAULMLAC-Thanks for the reply.I'll be looking forward to hearing more about your new rig.I'm still trying to get the hang of this site and this typing stuff, not much for spelling or punctuation either, not only that but my typing finger gets tired. Thanks guys.
