I have 2006 3100SS. Anyone using a rear hitch cargo carrier?
Also would like to haul fire wood, bikes and possible scooters. Weight limit is 500 hundreds pounds.

We use a bike carrier that fits in hitch and, often, pull a kayak trailer too, There is a hitch adapter which attaches to chassis hitch which allows double connection.

I have a platform over my car dolly. Unfortunately, none of the commercial double hitches that I could find had enough clearance for the surge brakes on the dolly. I had a local welder cut the hitch and add several inches to the riser to get me the space I needed. If you are concerned about this, get the double hitch locally and save the $30 return freight.
