We took out the sofa and put in 2 recliners. They fit perfectly. We ordered ours from 4Seating.com. Style 88-12006M-1002-S. They are brown bonded leather, wall huggers. Total cost for 2 was $675, shipped right to our house. We dealt with Anna Hernandez (anna@euroteccorp.com).

Here is a photo, tried to add more but it did not let me. I extended the slide out platform as the chairs were deeper than the sofa. I added 2 wheels underneath the extension to help support when slide comes in and out. It is much better watching TV in the recliners than the old sofa.

Really nice looking! How did you attach to slide Outs? Looking to do the same on our 3010.

I removed the sofa and used existing bolts and holes to attach a 3/4 inch plywood which was longer, attached with carpet and put 2 wheels under the plywood.

Can you still use the existing seat belts?

Thank for the info. Tried to find your part number but the web site won, what manufacture did you use. Really like the look, now I can't wait until we get back from our trip south to order and install.

Factory option?

We are looking to order a 3050S and want this as an option. There is another thread discussion about this possibly being considered as a future factory option. Brian Clemens said they are working on a prototype. We hope to see it in the near future before we order. If not we may try this route as a retro-fit.

How did you get them thru the narrow entry door to your coach?

This is the website we used to order from.

Seatcraft Bellagio Theater Chairs - Home Theater Seating | 4seating

Our contact person at 4seating was Anna Hernandez 800-407-8665- x 309.

The recliners came in 2 pieces, it fit through our door fine (3010DS). This was something I had to consider when purchasing the recliners, along with the width of them. The seat belts are there, but would have to pull them through the seating. We travel just us two, so this was not a concern for us.

The 2015 FR models have theater seating as a option. FR will not retrofit 2014 or older models (search this thread for theater seating and read bclements response on the subject). If you want recliners you must do it on your own.

Thanks for your info, do you know if the 2015 theater seating if available for purchase? You would think when a person spends this kind of money the mfg would make some kind of accommodations

My understanding from the previous thread that Forest River does not sell theater seating, but you can choose this option on the 2015 models.

I added a few pictures on this subject in the "New 3010 with theater seating" today, check them out. I used metal L brackets to mount it to the slide out floor. Because in order to recline, I had to sort of put them over the edge.

Yes. They (the seat belts) still reach around even though the seats are sort of pushed forward. I didn't change them at all.

Recliners in the 3050 should be done any day. If someone placed an order today, we should be able to accommodate as we are into June for some deliveries.
