Recliners in 2016 3050/3051

Joshua hope you read this one. Awhile back it was discussed that FR was testing for the approval of the double reclining couch setup in the 3050/3051. Has this happened and is there an anticipated date this will be available yet? Thanks for any input.

This is also a "hot button" issue for my wife and I. We discussed wanting this option on a previous thread with Brian and he indicated that the factory was working on it. Since then, I have not been able to get any status on this possible option. We want to order a new 3050S or 3051S this coming December or January and really want the recliners. It would be a huge expense to get the MH with a sofa and then have to buy recliners locally and have them installed. They are available in the 3010/3011S model....and in that model they are installed in a slide, which I would think would have required more engineering than to mount in the solid floor of the 3050/3051S.
Come on, guys!
Thanks

They already have them in the Coachmen line. Both the 317/319 have the perfect set up for the 3050/3051. While they are at it, put the TV set above the dinette. Then we can look directly at the TV from our recliners. I will give only a couple more months and if they are not available I will see what else is out there in a Class A come the Tampa RV show.

I'm with you

Yes, Yes, I'll second that on the TV also. Give us the recliners and a TV that's across from them. But at least give us the recliners and I can deal with the TV.
What do you say Joshua....?

Except the 2800/2801 has only one kitchen sink, much smaller black tank, and folding mattress and does not have a residential fridge option. The 3050/3051 could be perfect for at least two of us on here!!

No doubt about it. The recliners are on my must have list. I can't sit in any of the regular sofas for more than 5 minutes

Mark and Jim, have you considered the 3010/3011? Aside from not having a full wall slide and a bit smaller bathroom, it does give you the television view you are looking for and has the recliner option.

Also, in my opinion only, the full wall slide is a Schwintech(sp?) which is a big load for those little motors. I know the 3010/3011 also has a shorter mattress but that has not proven to be an issue and I am just shy of 6 feet. You can option in the 12 cu ft 4 door refrigerator and the booth dinette also which would still give you a pantry. Tank capacities are the same as the 3050/3051 and they have 20 cu ft more outside compartment storage and 500# more cargo carrying capacity without options.

Have considered it and scratched it off the list. I need the 60X80 bed, no option. On top of that you do not look directly at the TV, it is up in the bunk area and has to be bent and is not a clear view for both in the recliners. In the 3050/51 it would be above the dinette directly in front of the recliners. What we are asking is simple, seats are not in a slide and can be bolted right where the sofa is at. The TV being moved above the dinette is identical to the competitors. You should not have to be bent out of shape to watch TV. This may be a moot point as we are looking elsewhere to get what we the customer wants. We are not "settling" in our second coach.

We also considered a 3010/3011S..in fact we even rented one and took a trip in it to see if the DW would like RV travel. She agreed to a purchase only if she could have a larger bathroom, which the 3050/3051S has. She also likes the vanity/mirror area separate from the toilet area also. The 3010/3011S just feels more cramped. So it's got to be the 3050/3051S for us or nothing from FR. Like I said also, engineering for the recliners should be even simpler since the floor is solid.
I would be very upset if this became an option a month after we placed an order !!!
