Reminder! Safety Check.

Just had my first of many safety checks payoff. I was prepping the motorhome for the new owner and was demonstrating the safety check I do. On the rear dually, I noticed the inner clip that holds the extended valve was missing. Upon further inspection and repair, the inner wheel extended valve and clip somehow came loose from the outer wheel, flew off, and the tire had gone flat. The process of the extender flying off damaged the stem. The inner tire was no longer serviceable.

So, just a reminder to check your tire pressures before leaving. Also, I suggest you inspect the extender clip retainer that attaches to the outer wheel.

Happy camping!

What model was the motorhome? There was discussion recently about this happening with Solera's.
