Replace 3170 couch seat

Has anyone repaired or replaced the seat on their living room couch in their 3170? We love the coach and it won't replace the coach, but we've got to deal with the two bars in the couch seat.

Interested. We have been thinking about swapping the couch for something else.

What bars? I don't have any bars in the couch. I have a 2013 Sunseeker 3170.

I pulled mine out and took it to a shop to be recovered. Picked out a real nice vinyl, they added 2" of denser foam to seat and wrapped the 2 bars. Since the seat was 2" thicker, they made me a 2" thick, covered with same material pad to place on seat back when made into a bed. Much more comfortable to sit on and much better than original mattress on bed to sleep on. Cost about $300.00, worth every penny. The material I picked looks like an old Barber Shop chair, that design. If you are in Kissimmee, or Mayberry or Goshen, I would be glad to show you.

Couch is the worst thing about our 3170. Sags so bad after a year of use. So uncomfortable. I need to try your idea.

Fozzy, that was the best thing I could do with the couch.
