I have a new Sunseeker (the model # is in my signature), and I would like to replace the thermostat. My main complaint is the one that came with the RV only goes down to 60 degrees for the minimum heat setting. When I am gone for several hours, or at night, I would like to be able to set a cooler temperature.
I am going to try and attach a picture of my existing thermostat.
I have read on general posts that you can replace an RV thermostat with almost any battery-powered thermostat. Is that true with this one? The service techs where I bought the RV said you couldn't, but they are pretty quick to say no.
