The generator is rated for 33 amps so it will give you as much power as the 30 amp shore line. Manage your power load just like you would on shore power, except for one situation: the generator does not have as much reserve capacity as the incoming shore line power, so it may not be able to handle the heavier A/C or heat pump starting load if lots of other things are being used. For example, if the A/C is running and the water heater comes on, it may be okay, but if the water heater is running it may not restart the A/C.
I've had the generator just stall in that situation. I just shut off some load and the generator started and ran fine. It actually stalled before a breaker tripped.
