I have 3 vent on my Windjammer. The bathroom one came with the Fantastic Fan/cover so I went with the Fantastic Vent cover to match. They are way too easy to install. I was able to locate the existing screws that needed to be removed and just poked a screw drive through the Dicor and remove the screws. Then I shot some dicor in the holes and attached the Fantastic Fan Vent cover brackets. Put two on in less than 15 minutes...

If you have fantastic fan and you are going to run fan at max then you will need to get a cover that is made for that type of fan so the fan will open a little more because the fantastic cover is a little taller still not a problem to install

Great link. Just watched the video and it looks pretty straight forward. Love the 6 year warranty also. Now I just have to decide to go with the white or smoke. Thx for all the replies.

I have 3 of the MaxxAir FanMate covers and they are by far the best I've ever owned. I even leave them open driving through heavy rain.

OK, too many decisions. I see the MaxxAir II with a 6 year warranty and a new post of the MaxxAir Fanmate with a 3 year warranty. Which is the way to go? I do have 2 fantastic fans in our coach. The bathroom is just a standard fan.

Vent covers

Don't go overboard with vent covers been using them since 2003 never had one to go bad but I change rv's every couple of years most all do the same thing the ones for fantastic fans give you a little more air but that's it all I ever had kept rain out except in hurricane then you close it

The FanMate does fit on the FanTastic fan with no drilling into the roof - but I am biased so count me out .

Max air. I have 3 and have never had rain come in. The hinged ones cost a little more but you do not need to remove to clean and/or caulk. Screws into the side of the metal flange. No sealer is used. All hardware is stainless steel. The only suggestion I have is set them in a position that allowed the maximum opening on your vent. In other word, the curve back needs to be as close to the vent cover as practical. You will loose some vent opening but the pros are worth the cons.
