OP here. I found a similar part at the local Camping World for $12. It's a knob instead of a crank arm. I took what I had apart, didn't measure the pieces, but this looks close. The only thing I can't figure out is where the little aluminum shim thing (by the knob in the picture) goes.

Tensioner to keep knob from turning? Also ran Jensen and Elixir besides Ventline supply the vents

OP here. No luck. The new part was a little different size and won't work. Now to try to find the right size. I'll check the Internet for the other names you mentioned. I don't think a new rivet or sheet metal screw would work either (I tried clamping the mechanism tight and it still doesn't work right).

So remove it and see what is wrong with it.

The arm has a gearbox on one end and a "round thing like a wheel" on the other. The "wheel" goes through the slot (or track) on the lid and the shim thing clips onto the wheel to hold it in the track.

Inspect your lid while you are doing this repair. A new lid is under $20 and while you are doing all of this you might as well change the lid, as they do not last long in UV light.

I think CW carries all three makes. Otherwise you can try PPL in Texas, they have enormous stock/availability. Easiest to ID by the hinge design.
