Running Generator while traveling

I have an 2014 Sunseeker and I know you can run the genset while traveling. What I am wondering is it better to start it while not moving or can I send the wife back to start it while I'm going down the road. Last week it got really warm iin the back and I want to run the AC. Thanks for the input

I have a Berkshire, I usually crank mine up before I hit the road. Only reason I do is because I like to make sure everything is running and is good to go. But at time I have cranked up while driving.

I see no real problems either way you go.

Thanks. I would prefer to start it in a rest stop or home, but like you don't see a big problem having the wife go back and turn it on when were going.

I do both, but it is hard to hear it starting while driving down the road.

I do both...whatever suits the situation best at the time. I don't see where it really makes a difference...

Doesn't make any difference. Just make sure the DW knows how to prime and start. It will be harder to hear the cranking while going down the road.
