Rv show pricing

Just returned from the Pleasanton, CA rv show and saw that the 2016 3010 with 3tv's, leveling system, airide and solid counteracts is going for 82k.
Does that seem low?

What am I missing?

Without knowing all options its hard to say. If unit only had the leveling system option and was otherwise standard I would not say that is a low price at all. Now if the unit was loaded with all options plus paint I would say price is close to what I would expect. Probably could do better if you were on east coast. West coast always seems high.

Actually that seems high to me. We went to a show a couple years ago and thought the price sounded really good, then did a little homework when we got home and got it for several thousand less. I would say go on rv direct website, plug in all the info and see what price they give. I did that, told the rv company I saw at the show and they beat rv direct by $1000.

I usually use a rule of thumb minimum of 30 to 35% off MSRP. I have seen some as low as 40% at shows but they seemed like outliers. Since it's a 2016 it's basically a leftover or at least an end of year model since the 2017s start coming off the line in April so you should be able to do better.

I purchased my sunseeker 2860ds in 2013 at the Cleveland rv show and it was a significant discount.
