RV Vent Fan on Batteries
How long can I leave my RV vent fan on at medium speed (#2) before my battery drains to 50%? I am safe to leave the fan on for 6 hours?
I have a 2015 Sunseeker 2300, everything is off except for the standard lights from the chagrin ports, Entertainment console and tv LED light. The fridge is running on LP.

From a Google search, appears Fantastic Fan draws about 2.3 amps on mid-speed, 3 amps on high speed. Six hours would drain batteries about 15 amp-hours.
On our Solera with the factory installed dual size 27 batteries (about 200 amp hours total capacity) I have run the Fantastic Fan (with the fridge on propane ) that long a few times without a problem.

I have a 2013 Sunseeker 2300 and have run the vent fan on low setting overnight with no problems. Now have a dual Interstate size 27 setup and don't give it a thought. I've upgraded all 3 vents to 3 stage Fantastic Fans and commonly use one "inflow" in the front an one "outflow" in the rear, sometimes reversed, overnight without a problem.
FYI. Factory batteries are junk. Maybe because made that way, maybe because of sitting unused at the factory/dealer. Doesn't matter which. They have a very short life!

Fridge on ( either mode) means control board drawing 12V current, CO.Propane detector on also.

Don't forget that even though you have the refrig operating on propane, it still is using a small amount 12v to run the refrig controls.

I leave my FF running all day to vent the trailer. Never had a problem with a single 27 DEEP CYCLE battery. Last year I added a flexible 100 watt solar panel to the top of my 21DS, ran the cables down the awning support, into the storage compartment, then out to a 10 amp controller and to the battery. I have absolutely no power worries now! Works year round. Just top off the water before your first trip of the season and periodically during.

You should be able to run most any rv fridge for 8 hrs on your battery (if it is charged and in good shape when you start)

I've left our Fantastic Fan running on medium and high for days when we dry camp. We have 2 Trojan 6v golf cart batteries and the small amount of power the fan draws has not been a problem for us.

What kind of interstate batteries do you recommend? And do you run your fan simultaneously with your front cabin (passenger/driver) air conditioning unit? If so do you recommend max air vents?

Personally...I don't recommend Interstate batteries. They are made by Johnson Controls as are a majority of the batteries on the market. It is my opinion that 2 or 4 6v Golf cart batteries are the only way to go but that's just my personal opinion after over 60 years of towing and camping. Others will have their own opinions I'm sure. I am partial to Trojan Golf cart batteries but there are other brands that are well respected.
For me, dry camping is no different than when I am connected to shore power. I have inverters that supply 110v and a generator that will charge up my batteries when needed. I never have had to worry about power consumption.

If you install a Trimetric 2030RV you will be able to monitor the state of your batteries at a glance. I find I'm getting more use out of my available amp - hours now.

Probably for one day yes-- if you have the anti-condensation heater on
your fridge it makes a huge difference in battery life. For camping on battery
power you want to shut off or disconnect the heater if you have it.
