ScanGuage Installation

We heeded all the good words applied to the ScanGuage, bought one, and found it to do what the literature said, BUT haven't really found a good spot to mount it (on E450 Ford). Any suggestions?
tnx

I would mount it over the little cubby hole at the top middle of the dash and hide the wire by running it back thru the cubby hole. I once had a scan gauge but did not have good luck with it ( mine was very inaccurate) returned it and got the Autometer version for half the cost. Mounted it on the top left side of the dash but I think the scan gauge would big too big and probably look at little odd there.

E-450 Scangauge

I mounted mine just below the dash and above the center engine cover. Easy to see and reach from the driving position. The velcro was used at the top of the gauge. It fits tightly in this space and the excess wire is pushed behind it after using wire ties.

Installation time about 4-5 minutes, then you just program the gauge.

I mounted mine near the left pillar on the dash. Doesn't block view and easily seen with a glance.

got mine fm Amazon too. Seems to be the best price around

We finally mounted it to the dash just below the Magnadyne unit. There it can be seen by both sides,

Thanks for all the help guys. That upper 'nitch' would have been nice, but a tad too small

Man I lucked up....Saw one on eBay; the guy selling was right around the corner...How lucky...He said he used it for a month and sold the vehicle...He only used it for MPG...New vehicle had that built in display....It was a ScanGauge II. I gave him 50 bucks for it and tested on way back home...Works like a champ!

Rare for me to get a deal like this...It has been my experience in life if I have it for sale it is not worth a cold turd...But if you have it, it is pure gold!
