screens added to water heater and furnace

I added screens to the water heater and furnace but did not want the edges scratching the side of the rv..so I added vacuum hose tubing to the edge...I think I did a pretty good job!

Just out of curiosity, where did you add a screen to the water heater?

I attached screens to the furnace vents, fridge vents and water heater door last fall to both keep mice and wasps out of entering those areas. I got my screens from Amazon and they attach with springs except for the fridge vent screens which attach with plastic tie straps. All were easy to install.

Well, OK. Are you not concerned with the very high heat transfer to the vacuum hose on the furnace screen? The intense heat generated there will burn you, thus the warning embossed on the outlet. Maybe it's OK. Just a thought.

got the screens from my dealer they attach with small springs very easy I did it..the black tubing is small vacuum hose from Auto Zone I sliced it down the middle and then slid it on the edges not sure why the makers of the screens do not have something to protect the side of the RV
