Shifting from Toad to Uber?

Just curious if others are towing a vehicle less and opting for Uber?

You must camp near the city.

We like going to the country to get away from it all.

They can't even spell Uber, let alone offer one.

I'll keep my toad for the difference in mileage it costs over not having it.

I can just imagine using an Uber to drive me thru the Needles Road in SD, or a drive onto the Blue Ridge Pkway.
How about an Uber driving us around Devils Tower, or thru some of the back roads just to see the sights.
Nope, not gonna happen!!!

That could be a good business venture. Take a nice equipped 4x4 or Jeep and do Uber tours for people around the off the beaten path areas.

I guess you have to be a Millenial.

I can't imagine getting in a car with a stranger........even a taxi. Just not going to as long as I can drive.

Course, this is why I tow a camper instead of a camper towing a toad. Well, that and I'm claustrophobic! LOL

I DO see some of the benefit of a small MH if I wanted to just tour the world, though....

Yep We have a toad but when we are on a short trip to an urban area we sometimes opt to uber or taxi. My son lives in Santa barbara and there is a lot of public transportation.

But sometimes that trip to a nearby lake to off the beaten path. You can't beat loading up cherokee trailhawk with an ice chest, some fishing poles and a couple of grand kids for a day trip. Also Grandma sometimes like to buy something that won't fit in an uber.

But then who can afford to pay what they would ask for the tour and you still not going to just go see other stuff. I would stick to the toad if I had a MH. Guess that is why i all toe a tt no need for a car. Later RJD
