Shore power during storage

Should I turn off the main power switch while hooked to shore power for winter storage?

Leave in on and plugged in. I run my heat or ac to keep it between 70 and 74.

I leave mine plugged in all winter at home. I check battery water level at least once a month and run generator(3/4-1/2 tank of gas with Stabil) once a month

Our covered storage provides a 115VAC 15 Amp service so I leave ours plugged in and the battery switch On. I do use a basic surge protector while hooked up....

Thanks for the input! I think I will leave mine plugged in (with a surge protector) and the main switch on

Anyone know if the chassis battery will get charged while plugged in to shore power?

Normally no... Since FR makes things differently between units, much less models, there maybe some that do....but I haven't seen one.

We visit our motor home every 3-4 weeks at a minimum to check on it and run the chassis motor and gen set. That gives me time to look everything over and check for bugs and mice...

As was mentioned
Keep an eye on your battery water level
If it's plugged in and powered up my understanding is the charger is going to keep on cycling and when ours was new I cooked the water out of one of the Batteries
I now only power it up if I'm going to run a heater on really cold days
