Shower head

I have a 3050. I use a water pressure regulator. Whether its on or off I still get very low pressure and flow from the shower head. I'm thinking of replacing the factory model with another in hopes getting a more usable shower. Any suggestions on a shower head.

I just went to Wal mart and bought one that lets me shut off the water from the shower head, to save water while showering. It has three different sprays and it is better than the one that came with the rig!

Do you get a reasonable water flow elsewhere? If so, there may be an obstruction in the shower head itself or it may be a design issue for water conservation. I replaced my shower head with a Body Spa shower with oxygenics (can get it at Camping World or Amazon). It has some sort of amplifying technology that is able to deliver a stronger spray regardless of water pressure. Hope that helps.

I replaced the factory shower head and hose in my #3051S. The model I use is also sold at Camping World. I get a decent flow using a pressure regulator.

I have purchased several shower heads and the best one IMOH that gives good performance in low water pressure with an easy on/off button.

Water Pressure

i have the same problem. Seems as if the water pressure is low. I thought it was because FR put a water regulator in the unit? Should I buy and use a regulator?

Had an issue when i first got my PUP but only in the shower. This was on the first trip with it to Darlington SC for the race. Well after removing the PR, filter and faucet valves looking for junk in he lines..... found ZERO. Started tracking pipes by removing pannels from the walls and lookie lookie a kink in the line 6" from the faucet. From the factory....Lack of QC is all it was. good thing I have some skills.

I bought the Oxygenics as well, now I am wondering about putting in one from Oxygenics for the shower at home. Are there any recommendations for which one for home use?

I don't know that we're purposefully regulating pressure, but the water filter seems to do that a bit on its own.

(Please do not take this as "Oh, so I don't need a pressure regulator") I always recommend one.

Between taking the restrictive element out of the built-in WaterPur filter and replacing the FR standard issue el cheapo shower head with an Oxygenics, our shower works great.

"restrictive element" do you mean the filter or something else?

I guess I should have said the restrictive filter cartridge. The one that came with ours is the extruded carbon filter which filters down to 0.5 micron, which is pretty small. If FR had plumbed into the sink only, it would have been great, but it is mounted near the pump and city water inlet, so everything is filtered. I don't think it is really necessary to flush the toilet or take a shower with such finely filtered water.

If you do go the Oxygenics route make sure you get the one with the water cut-off. We bought ours at CampingWorld and didn't notice until we were home that it didn't have one. Almost a must when camping without sewer.

Mine didn't- I bought a cheap water cutoff from Amazon and it's worked well. I added it right above the shower knobs.
