Shower Size

Curious about shower sizes. Not to totally rat myself out but I'm 6-2 & 275.

Looking at a Sunseeker 3100 but worried that shower may be too small (does anybody know the dimensions).

Wondering if the shower in the Sunseeker 3170 would "fit" me better since it's more rectangular than square (according to the FR website, it's 24 x 36).

I love the shower in the Sunseeker 3120 but that floorplan has a smaller couch (60 inches vs 68 inches) that wouldn't really function for sleeping on.

Any other folks about my size that have a perspective. Understood that this isn't the Four Seasons but just want to have a functional shower.

I stood in the shower of the PUP we had and it was a little cramped but not to bad. If I had to guess I would say your shower would be bigger. Oh and I am about your size (6-1 250)

I'm 5'7" 200 lbs and I wish the shower on our 3100 was bigger and a little lower to step in and out.

If you are looking for a "normal" size shower in the FR line, look for a floorplan with what they call the "Garden Shower". It's a corner shower, bigger than some shower stalls that I've seen in small hotel rooms or apartments! It was a BIG selling point for our signature unit.

I am a big guy.... I am 5'11" 285 and I have a Roo 17 and I am fine in it.... The 17 has the tub/shower combo and I can get in and do my thing, no problems...

I was not in the 19 due to the corner shower.

I will also add to this, the 17 has a bigger bathroom (give up a sofa), which is nice cause I can actually do my "Dooty" without being up against a wall.

2006 3100LTD shower dimension

paulmlac, I went out in the driveway and measured the shower in my 2006 3100LTD Sunseeker and got the following.

From wall to inside of door 22 1/4" (Door closed)
From left to right wall 31 1/2" (Shower faucet wall to opposite wall)
From floor to peak of sunroof 78"

I can get my 5'6" 170lb heinie in there and do the business, but use the camp ground facilities mostly.

Hope this helps, you did not say what year you were looking at.

Just rented a Coachmen Freelander 32BH (bunkhouse model) to possibly purchase and my DW says that the shower is too small. Can anyone give me a spec comparison with the Sunseeker 3170DS shower? If it is larger, that is one more + in the column for the Sunseeker!

Floor plan shows it at 24"x36". (It has a tub base). It does not show a size on the Coachmen floor plan...but they squeeze a linen closet in there that appears to shorten the shower size.
