Shower Surround Cracked

Hi everyone,

Just went to check on my unit while at the storage and start loading it to get it ready for the season. So I do the once over with the flashlight to check for any unwanted guests and found none. Opened all drawers too. Great news. So I open up the shower door and found a 2 foot crack at the top of the shower surround. Has anyone ever had this happen? I already ordered a new surround to replace it however from now on when i store it i will be removing the one screw that hols the shower head bracket.

We're guessing the crack runs thru the screw hole?
Possibly they didn't drill a large enough pilot hole at the factory?
My shower wand holder is attached with 3M automotive trim double sided tape.
It would be very hard to pull off and no screws or drilling required.

well i'm going to replace it i just might use the tape or glue not going to risk another 500 dollar repair.
