I really wanted better air movement in the bedroom so I clamped on some fiberglass screen inside using magnets and clips and a bungee to hold the window open from outside.

Just be aware we don't make those exit windows "hold-openable" (I may have created a new word) due to RVIA building codes.

Wess ,Yours is much nicer than mine. I set the outside trash can underneath, prop window open with an empty beverage can, which I replace every so often, freeing the old can to deposit itself in the trash. Waiting for patent to go through...

You need a GoFUNDME page for this...or a Kickstarter solution. I would certainly start by financing at least (2) empty beverage containers.

I'm curious to know what might happen if the window is held open. I would like to to do a practice exit but was afraid of damaging the window. It looks like the hinge might come apart if it is abused.

That's the EXIT window??? I really want to know about opening it. I was afraid if it was opened, since it says emergency only it might fall out or something.
