Was going to replace a section of my living room seal and discovered the seal appears to be a u channel covering the framed opening. I have not seen or found any seals like this, Am i looking at this wrong? (2014 3010DS)
We have a 2017 3010DS and have a similar issue with the living room slide. Intermittently the top black u channel slides out while driving down the road. We haven't found a good fix for the issue. Let's us know what you come up with.
I have a 2013 3010DS and noticed while retracting the slide it seems the top seal would slide forward. I got up on a ladder and took a look. It seems that they put a small rivet or what looks like a nail head in the trim to stop it from sliding out. I slid the seal back into place and pushed the seal back over the head of the nail. I then used a bit of silicone over the nail and the seal it hasn't moved since.

I'm having to replace the seal on our slide of 2012 3100SS sunseeker. if you call Forest River Inc give them the last 8 digits of your VIN number they will tell you the part number for it. You will have to go through an authorized dealer for them to order the part as I understand it FR does not Ship Direct to customer

Mine is a D bulb seal with two wipers one you see on the outside and the other wraps on the inside. It's a two-part item
