bclemens, do you need my address so you can send me one for an unbiased "Forest River Forums" test evaluation? I probably wouldn't need to keep it but about for two years to put it thru it's paces.

A 72 hour hold in a psych unit is beginning to intrigue me as a potential vacation opportunity.

Probably gonna need a cold weather test too. I'll put it through it's paces up here in Canuckland for ya.

So, do you want feedback on this?
I do have questions:
I see the dinette booth is on the slide but does that make it too complicated to use the Dream Dinette versus the tube/table setup on a slide-out wall?
Windows appear to be crank-out versus slide. Any particular reason?
Thanks for the advance showing. I know someone looking for a coach with less width (95" range) but doesn't want the Lexington with the curved walls and doesn't want the Mercedes diesel. This unit looks like a good fit.
It will be a dream dinette going forward. Table did not show up in time.
We did frameless windows for a more modern look.

Peachy!
I will state that the frameless does look modern but stink on functionality. I nearly broke the glass on one that was cranked out - hitting it with my thick skull.

no. You would have to gladly give up walls. A king bed is 12" wider than a Queen, which would not fit in a slide out.

Brian, I enjoyed meeting and talking with you at the Harrisburg show. The new layout has a number popular features. The opposing slides really add to the living space openness and the swivel front seats allow effective use of the cab area. It would be nice to redesign the swivel so the seats would also raise up some but I realize that would probably require some crash testing.
TV placement, full size island bed, large shower, and external trash can access are all nice features. However placing the layout on the shorter, narrower, and lower chassis has some negatives. Jayco has a similar layout in a full size class c which is 2 feet longer and deals with the bathroom better IMO but it has some other issues as well. You can't be small on the outside and big on the inside so there are always tradeoffs. The new layout offers another great option when deciding on a Sunseeker.
Thanks. It was nice meeting you as well. When the floor plan design started out, engineering said right off the bat, the only way it would work was on a GTS style body. Full size Class C would be weight prohibitive.
Plus, no other major mfg has done anything innovative in that segment since we came out with the 283 Lexington (that seems like decades ago).
Just one for arrow for the quiver. We'll already looking to done other options. Either in the GTS segment or Sprinter chassis.

Well, we are debating all white items or all black items on the roof for everything. I think black looks better than white on painted units...but I always worry about the heat that black draws. We have gone to black awning hardware to match the new graphics & windows. The black roof items would match as well. Just not 100% sure yet. No one seems to complain about the all black on painted units.
As for the new model, I'll post pictures and a video from the inside when I get to Hershey.
Black color items tend to look sharper & more modern while white doesn't attract as much heat but tends to fade & yellow faster. After investing in switching out several white pieces to black I am ready to go back to white again.
