Sneak Peek!
A little something new. Will debut at the Hershey Show in PA next week.
(obviously not done yet, no wheel liners, etc...but this was the only picture I could get before they whisked it away to the rain booth)

That is a sharp looking rig. Looks very aerodynamic.

I will be at the Hershey show on the 10th. Just for half of the day. I wanted to get a little retail feedback and then I have to head back to Elkhart to get ready for our big Wholesale show.
I'll post more details and pictures from Hershey on this new rig. It is an industry first floor plan...created with a lot of retail feedback over the years.

Since it has the Sunseeker logo on the side, and looks like the Lexington, are they doing away with the Lexington?

We shall see. Really just trying to consolidate and streamline our offerings.

Consolidate and streamline. I wish every manufacturer would do that. I know why they do it sometimes, but it's aggravating when some have 2 identical units with 2 different decals.

Great I plan to be there as well since it is half price day and much less crowded. Will you be in area 510 where the Class Cs usually are or 537? Looks like Forest River has the largest display area by far this year over and above any other manufacturer.

Very interesting and I agree, looks somewhat like the Lexington except the walls don't curve in. Be interesting to see the inside - when you get around to it. I take it this much be an entertainment system over-cab.
I know the shop is still "dressing" the unit but might double check to see if that Dometic A/C cover is supposed to be white. With the darker painted unit, I would think the black cover would be a better match.

Well, we are debating all white items or all black items on the roof for everything. I think black looks better than white on painted units...but I always worry about the heat that black draws. We have gone to black awning hardware to match the new graphics & windows. The black roof items would match as well. Just not 100% sure yet. No one seems to complain about the all black on painted units.
As for the new model, I'll post pictures and a video from the inside when I get to Hershey.

I think all things color coordination; white tops and covers for lighter colored units - and black for darker colored units. White shoes with a black suit?
Black will absorb heat but why start/stop with tops and covers? Windows are the worst. No R value and black glazing. Even with the shade - the heat is sucked right in (or lost - in winter).
Bad enough to select colors for the inside - now you got the same for the outside!

On slide and main awnings, I always preferred the black for sure. Dirty or not, they don't ever really look dirty. As for paint, anything but dark colors for said reasons, heat. They definitely do look good. As long as a variety is offered, light and dark, I think most everybody is happy.

Really, you're going to argue with Han Solo?
If the graphics have black in them, then we are color coordinating.

He only did that so his red carnation would show (shows up better on white than black)
Seriously, look at the Forester behind it. The white cover seems proper for that coach color scheme.
Hey, is that a sanitary drain hanging down behind the rear wheel? No sanitary enclosed compartment? I didn't see that looking at the photo from my phone but I see it now on the desktop.
Just curious.

That's a 2861. Not enough slope to enclose the outside kitchen tank. It's just a sink drain.
