Sneak peek of the new Sunseeker floor plan.
Will officially debut next week. We've had a few of the department heads put some miles...and some nights in, just to make sure everything is as good as we think it will be.

I'm guessing you know what you did . . . but it's just a snippet of the floor plan

With the slide closed, is the kitchen and bath available?
IE doors can be opened and fridge accessed?

Yes. Everything is still accessible. We used a sliding door for the bathroom close off so that no matter where the slide is at...in, out, half way (not that you would want to do that), but the door will close off the back area. Skylight in the hall bath area & living area...tons of natural light. Pretty impressive if I say so my self.

Ya know I'll probably get hollered at for this but why do I see seat belts on that couch and not in school buses?

Seat belts in a school bus put kids in more danger. My dad is a farmer but for something to keep him busy he has driven a school bus for 45 years. Look at the over all statistics to see what kind of accidents school buses are in. Most of them seat belts wouldn't have helped. Buses are a high profile, highly visible vehicle so accidents aren't that common. A bus is designed with the high backed seats to keep kids contained in case of front or rear end collisions. It's the parents job to make sure their kids know they must remain seated at all times. You also have to consider that except for sporting events and field trips buses are traveling at lower speeds. Stop and think for a minute what the driver would have to go through in a fire or when a bus flips on its side, it is almost impossible to ask a driver to go through and get 60 kids unbuckled and out safely. For that matter, what if the driver is hurt and can't help the kids?
Seat belts in motorhomes really aren't that affective either in my opinion. They well keep you in place in case of a sudden stop but that's about it. In a rollover to you really think that dinette bench they are strapped to is going to stay in one piece?

It will not. The biggest unit we build on a Chevy is the 2860.
