Sofa Bracing

Just thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone has had the same issue. The couches installed in these MH's aren't exactly top of the line, and have minimal bracing in the frame work. Ours specifically wobbled side to side when you sit on it, even though all fasterners were tight. Looked at a few at the factory and they were the same. I had some aluminum angle laying around and made a diagonal cross brace that is bolted on using existing fasteners. Now the wobble is gone. Probably 100 ways to do this but this was the quickest.

No wobble on mine. FR must have forgotten to install the wall bracket. The 2012 Sunseeker 3120s had them.

I wondered if there was supposed to be something there. Must have been friday afternoon when they put the couch in. Thought about putting brackets to the wall, but it was a gamble whether I'd hit something more solid than 1/8" wall board and foam, thus went with the aluminum.

Bighorn, my couch seems sturdy, but there are no wall brackets to speak of. The sofa is only secured with the framework on each end of the sofa to to the floor, nothing to the back wall. If mi me loosens up I'll add the angle iron as you did.

I gotta keep an eye on the auto spell check as well. I've sent some pretty messed up emails and messages. Our couch was likely fairly sturdy in January when we bought it. However, several attempts by my daughter at skydiving off of the cab over bunk to the couch just might have loosened it up. There's another thread going about the FR designers and input from owners. I hadn't mentioned "child proof interior" yet. This was one of the reasons for selling the tiffin. Bunk model, yet had white tile floors and cream leather furniture. Talk about hard to keep clean with 2 dirty rug rats.
