Angry sorry another 3170ds

This question may have been asked answered. i am looking at the history now. however i wanted to get the ball rolling. Just returned from the Lazy Days FROG rally in Tampa Fla. (it was nice)(The Forest River reps that were there were just concerned about the diesel end of Forest River more about that later). Anyway upon my return found a stress crack on the exterior bottom right of the drivers side slide. additionally, a leak has also started on the same slide top right. I have gone over the roof Extensively looking for splits cracks, holes any thing that looked like water can get in and sealed it. I believe the leak is somewhere on the slide. Just calling out to a savior to see if anyone may have had the same problems or may have a trick or two up your sleeve about repairing replacing. Thanks

I looked at a 3170ds in while in TN (2016 with 19k on it) and a brand new 2017 with 700 miles on it today and noticed both of them had that crack. Was about to. Make a offer on it but I guess some more research is warranted. Not sure this helps you but it seems to be common and though you might find it interesting.
