Winterizing here in Gaylord, MI is $49.95 at International RV. I believe they just run antifreeze through the city water connection using a hand pump.

OK, getting ready to winterize. Since I did not have time to shop last weekend and I was on Amazon (Prime) anyway, decided to order two gallons.

Open the box when I get home and both bottles are more than half empty! First thought "Aww, nuts! It must have leaked!" and start looking for damage to the box.
I take the bottles out and DW points out a tag on them that reads "Fill to top with water".
(forehead slap emoticon goes here)

Really fill with water? Weird!
No rv antifreeze I've bought had to do this.

Thiesens and farm and fleet 2.65 a gallon.

Oh fonz!

What a Racket!
$14.00 for 1 gallon of antifreeze and you still have to add water to it to make 2 gallons!

Where do I sign up for this ?!?!

Yep, the old "RV" markup trick....example: "Bubble Gum-.50" "RV Bubble Gum - $2.50"

Arfbee: Do you have a Walmart nearby? Ours always has tons of RV antifreeze at this time.

I cant believe Members put these in (Very Restrictive) look at the (Hole Size) you have to feed the pump from the F/W tank after you install this Valve! The drill bits show the (Decreased Size) after install! Then Members complain about (Low flow in the shower,or elsewhere in the RV). Your choice,I just screw on a input(suction side) hose to pump AF,then remove. Youroo!!

Last time I grabbed some at Tractor Supply it was $6 so figured I could suck up the difference.
Looks like I had the really good stuff since it is now $4.
*sigh* - I need more time to get ready so the important stuff doesn't cost so much.

Oh well, back to work!
