Spring time is here!
Been waiting and waiting for some sunshine so we can take our new SS out for some weekends. Seems like winter might finally be over here in Canada.

Still frozen in New England. Some green showing thru on lawns(but not much). Maple Sugaring time . Some buds on trees but imagine some of those will be lost just like cherry bollosoms in DC .Went up to Winnipesaukee yesterday 19-20 degrees with a 20-40 mph breeze almost froze my face off . Ellacoya SP just a snowmobile track . Doesnt look like we're going to get any relief in next week or so

I have hope that I can take our unit out in the next two weeks but not enough confidence in the weather to de-winterize it or put away the snow shovel.

Spring is definitely in the air.
Thermometer showed a balmy 16 degrees outside when I woke up this morning.

We are headed out for the first trip of the year tomorrow. We are planning a long weekend at Oak Plantation Campground in Charleston, SC. I'm so excited! This was our second winter in The Carolinas with no camping for months and months.

Here In the Sierra Nevada Mtns. it's been an epic grueling winter. I spent three days digging my rv out in Jan. to take a reprieve in Malibu (325 mi. away). I decided after my return to store it for Feb. below the snow line instead of at my home to make it easier. Big mistake. Someone stole my rear license plate and tags. Resolving that problem took more time than shoveling. I just took another trip to the beach and rewinterized again for this weeks storms. 24 nights of camping in my Solera so far this year. I'm grateful to have my rv and be able to take a break on winter that is inexpensive; cost: $760.00

mtnlvr. You guys have had quite the snow. Say's skiing will be open till the 4th. Same here on the other side of the mountain (about 75 miles south of Tahoe) Lots of rain. 3" over the weekend did get away to AZ for some spring training baseball though.

DW and I were supposed to be setting up camp in VA about now, but last week's snow messed that up! Still haven't dewinterized. Hopefully hitting rode in a few weeks!

Try again[emoji35] We went to the Tampa FROG rally last weekend. Left here(Durham, NC) it was just above freezing. We spent a night near Savannah and it was 28 that night. I dewinterized the unit when we got to Savannah as we had full hookups. Home now and it has been right at freezing a couple of nights. I did not winterize, just drained the lines and tank. Head out tomorrow for the NC mountains for three nights. Weatherman says it will not freeze at night up there. We'll see. I hope I am done winterizing the unit until next winter.

Mike.t- Phoenix makes a nice winter break! That's the beauty of CA; you can snow ski, be in the desert and surf all in the same day. And more snow today.....
I've rewinterized 3 times already. I'm glad I finally got it down. The first time I needed to have it done, the tech turned me down and told me; "lady you need to learn how to do this yourself."
